Welcome to November!

We have entered the season of reflection, where we celebrate the winter holidays, the gifts of giving, and gratitude. I know I have so much to be thankful for in my personal and professional life. I am surrounded by amazing educators, a dedicated staff, and spirited students everyday! I am also grateful for your support of the student centered programs we offer at Commodore Options K-12...which are possible because of your parent participation and partnership. Thank you!

November is the midterm time of 1st semester. We need to keep the engagement active and motivation strong to help students stay focused on their academics and daily schedules. We all need the extra boost of support to stay energized...before winter hibernation sets in!! We also just finished our K-8 conferences and our 9-12 students will be receiving midterm grade reports, which is the perfect time to take a pulse on what is working well and areas that need some attention. Students thrive with clear expectations, healthy boundaries, and systems to help them manage their time. We are a collaborative team at Commodore and supporting your student is our priority.

This month we also honor our friends and family members who are actively serving or veterans who have served our country selflessly. Thank you to the parents and staff members in our community who have served as well!

I hope everyone will be able to make time to celebrate Thanksgiving with friends and family this month, sharing gratitude and community with one another!

Thank you all for your partnership and support  of COS K-12! If you have any questions, please reach out to me.

Warmly,
Tricia Corsetti, Principal
